About This Course
The Course Project development will be conducted to introduce private companies to tools relevant for electrification planning, such as KoboToolbox, Homer and MS Excel as well as further practicing incorporating QGIS into such endeavors. The course is mostly relevant for mini-grid (MG) planners and covers all the steps needed to design a properly sized as well as technically and financially reliable system. However, the course might be also useful for other technologies and for companies interested in data gathering, energy demand assessment or financial modelling in general.
This course is divided into three modules. The module contains a training presentation, datasets for exercises, and step-by-step guide, video for further explanation. For easy navigation use the content menu by the left

Prerequisites
- Suggest to complete the Se4all Introduction Course
- Suggest to complete the QGIS Training
- Have QGIS installed
- Familiar with the use of Microsoft Excel
- Have a Computer and mouse
